What we collect
When you apply for membership, nominate someone, contact us or enquire about partnership, we collect the details you provide: name, email address, organisation, role, career stage and your message.
Why we use it
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, assess and administer membership, verify professional details, match you to programmes and send you information you have asked for. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests and, where relevant, consent.
Consent and publication
We do not publish your name, title, employer, photograph or testimonial without your written consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Storage and sharing
Data is stored securely and accessed only by people who need it to administer Tamil Vortex. We do not sell personal data. We share it with employers, mentors or partners only with your agreement.
Retention
We keep application and enquiry data for as long as needed to administer membership, and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required.
Your rights
